primary purpose of Champion Builders Ministries is to
build
champions through Christ for Christ!
My greatest
desire is to motivate and encourage you to pursue and live the abundant
life that God has for you.
God not only came that we might have life, but that we would have abundant life. I hope you will choose to begin the championship journey with me. It requires one very important thing, that you be willing to overcome yourself. We are our own greatest enemy.
I spent many years as my own worst enemy. I was born with cerebral palsy. I was unable to walk until I was three, and that was thanks to God's hand and the use of a good surgeon. I would like to tell you that from that point on nothing stopped me from accomplishing my goals. See even though I was raised in church and was saved when I was seven years old, I still had some very wrong misconceptions. I was very shy and didn't try really hard because I thought others didn't have high expectations for me. Now, don't misunderstand I really enjoyed competing and played a lot of sports in school but never any really organized high school sports. I was constantly trying to prove that I was normal. (Whatever normal is.) I even began to be angry with God because I didn't want to be what He created. I felt that if only He would heal me I could reach my full potential and do something great. God never promised to heal my disability. Although I knew that if I had enough faith He would. I was right, He did heal me.
He didn't heal me the way I prayed for though. My greatest disability wasn't my CP. It was my wrong attitude about myself. I just assumed that if the Lord healed me physically everything would be great. But, He began to show me He wasn't going to heal me physically. But, He was going to use me the way He created me, if I would let Him. Champion Builders Ministries is the result of His using me. I want to be able to teach others how and why they can live a championship life. Life with God is that championship. God doesn't want us to live in mediocrity, but to experience Him totally.
You can't serve God on your terms and experience Him totally. It took me the loss of a business and the loss of a lot of pride to see that. The only way to experience His best for you is to give yourself totally to Him. God can see the Champion that lives within you. Will you allow Him to bring it out. It won't be easy and it won't happen overnight. But it will be the greatest and most rewarding journey you've ever taken.
I encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and let God use you. You will be amazed at what happens.
